24-HOUR THEATRE PROJECT - 2025
The 24-Hour Theatre Project is our annual fundraiser to help support our next year’s (2025-2026) drama season. Money earned in the next 24 hours will be used to fuel our five mainstage productions. Thanks for your help! In 24 hours, we will dream, write, direct, act, produce, and create a show that we will put on tomorrow (Saturday, May 17) at 5 p.m. Please invite your friends and family! We accept free will donations for tickets and love when people want to contribute more!
This show is zany and more like improv than rehearsed theatre. Fun Twists: All writers will be required to include one special line that will be in every show. That will be our 2025 theme. Writers will brainstorm options at the writer’s meeting. Additionally, one specific prop must be used in every show. Directors will receive the prop on Saturday morning and will then begin the process of deciding how to incorporate it into their script and show.

2 p.m.        Various Spaces    Show Jaffe/Kostro your piece/touch base/all cast rehearsal

Reminders:
  • Everyone brings money for lunch and dinner tomorrow. We’ll be ordering in (often it’s things like sandwich platters or pizza). Bring snacks and drinks to sustain yourself. Extra brownie points: bring food to share!
  • Invite friends and family to our show! This is a really fun, completely-student-created event!
  • Don’t flake out. There are dozens of people counting on you. Once you commit, we need you all day Saturday!

Join Drama Club! 

Drama Club is a no-experience required, no-audition club for theater enthusiasts at Hinsdale Central. We meet about once per month, and support our five main-stage shows, as well as doing fundraising, workshops, and theater activities.
