HERE'S THE AUDITION PACKET! |
About the Show:
A Midsummer Night's Dream is a comedy by William Shakespeare that explores the complexities of love and the magic of the supernatural. The story takes place in a forest where four young lovers become entangled in a web of romantic confusion due to a mischievous fairy's love potion. Meanwhile, a group of amateur actors rehearses a play, adding to the chaos and humor. The fairy king and queen, Oberon and Titania, have their own quarrels, which further complicate the events. By the end, the enchantments are undone, and harmony is restored as the lovers are correctly paired and the actors perform their play. The play highlights themes regarding the topics of love, transformation, and the interplay between reality and dreams.
Auditions:
Monday, September 30th from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is no need to prepare anything. You will be asked to perform cold readings from the script. If you can’t make September 30th, let me know so we can arrange an earlier time. Fill out the audition form and bring it to your audition on the 30th! - Mr. Kostro
